Our Story
How it started
For many in India, modest clothing traditionally meant two choices: Abaya or Salwar Kameez. There was little in between — and even less that married modesty with modern design. That narrow view felt limiting to us.
Falak and Faizan — founders of Haya & Kalos — spent years travelling. In markets and boutiques across Istanbul, Dubai, London and beyond, they noticed a different story: modest fashion there had variety, personality and trend-forward design. From co-ord sets to layered silhouettes, modest wear celebrated individuality.
Returning to India, they asked a simple question: why can’t Indian women have the same choices? The answer shaped the brand.
